EUSA is recognized for developing student-athletes within an atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else. Our training methodology focuses on individual improvement and team strategies. Our student-athletes have access to a wide network of resources that ensures they are supported throughout their career.
What is an Academy? As Shakespeare stated, "What's in a name? That which we call a rose. By any other name would smell as sweet." In the soccer environment, the "Academy" label is simply a marketing ploy. For a list of true US Soccer Development Academy teams, click here for the most up to date listing.
We encourage parents to truly compare apples to apples in what they are receiving for the money they pay. Review our Travel Program Fee Comparison Chart against other "academies" and determine for yourself the value you are receiving. At the end of the day, biggest questions that should be answered - "Is my child improving, growing and having fun?"
Within EUSA, our academy program is the highest level of play within our Club. We play in the EDP (Eastern Development Program) divisions and are quite competitive. Our academy program is designed for those players who are seeking to play high school varsity and/or college.
The overall goal of the program is to develop creative, thinking, mentally strong soccer players for life. We focus on understanding the game, both from a technical and tactical standpoint, and developing their place within the game.
Our focus is truly development. Once players complete their initial tryout, their place on the team is dependent on their commitment and development. No further tryouts are held.
If you are looking for a true academy atmosphere where the player is first, then EUSA is your home.
Feel free to contact us at EUSA@EdisonUnitedSoccer.com with any questions and/or to arrange a tryout.
We look forward to seeing you as a member of the EUSA family!
