EUSA has a program for every member of the soccer family from ages 2.5 to 85, regardless of skill level. A $75 Volunteer Work Bond is required per household. During Spring 2016 we restructured our programs to be in compliance with the new US Soccer Initiatives with age groupings and playing fields.

Our Player Progression System centers aound Excellence. Excellence is all about the process; while winning is all about the outcome. When we allow players to pursue excellence in their training and skill attainment, we allow room for failure and learning. Unfortunately, the modern day soccer parent who is obsessed with winning stifles the development of their child, both in soccer and in life. Here at EUSA, we believe in the "Sometimes you Win, Sometimes you Learn" philosophy for development and growth.
EUSA Player Progression System TM
The EUSA Player Progression System is based upon years of research across multiple disciplines in proper training guidelines to ensure success for a player. The EUSA Player Progression System understands that soccer greatness is a long-term development process (10 years), a marathon, not a sprint. We provide each player with the proper learning environment and tools to attain success through their efforts.
Prior to 2012, our Club was like most town soccer programs: predominately rec with the travel teams all doing their own thing with trainers. There was no cohesive training philosophy or program. Every team was different, and the results were less than stellar.
In 2012, EUSA took a holistic approach to all our programs combining the expectations of USA Soccer DA (Development Academy) programs, the best of the European sports models, and a future sense of the dvelopment of the game. We created an Academy environment with a clear training philosophy from our Foundation program (recreational) thru to our Travel Academy EDP programs.
The results speak for themselves. Since 2012, we have won two (2) NJ State Cup Championships, we have been to Regional State Cup tournaments, (8) State Cup quarterfinals, eight (8) flight championships, seventeen (17) tournament champions, and eight (8) Development ICYSL Champions. And these numbers continue to grow every season.
Our travel & development ICYSL teams are challenged and placed in competitive brackets - we do not chase championships, we chase development. And while doing so, we have succesfully brought home meaningful wins as our players continue to test and refine themselves against challenging competition continuing to strive to be better than they were the day before.
The biggest difference between EUSA and other Clubs / Academies is that we develop our own players. 96.4% of our teams are comprised of players that have been developed from our Foundation program thru Development ICYSL thru to our Travel Academy EDP program.
We believe in long-term development and investment in our players, not short-term wins.
