Welcome to Edison United Soccer Association (EUSA), a 501(c)(3), not for profit youth soccer organization of the Internal Revenue Code.  Contributions to EUSA are deductible under section 170 of the Code, and EUSA is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, donations or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

Our founder, Spencer Rockman, began teaching soccer in the Edison/Metuchen area in 1972 out of his Good Humor ice cream truck at a time when no one knew what soccer was in the USA.  In 1974, Edison United Soccer Association was born!

Spencer Rockman served as President of EUSA for 13 years.  He was inducted into the NJ Youth Soccer Association Hall of Fame in 2013 and the NJ Soccer Association Hall of Fame in 2017.  He was also the co-founder of Garden State Soccer League.  

As EUSA has grown, our mission statement has stayed the same: "A place for everyone to play."  We pride ourselves in our ability to provide a fun, creative and competitive environment for soccer players of all ages, from 2.5 years old to 85 years old.

The game of soccer is a metaphor to focus on teaching life skills and values.  Our programs focus not only on teaching soccer, but on teaching inspiration, encouragement, and empowerment for life lessons with an emphasis on unity of humankind.  

Our teaching philosophy is simple:  nurture, develop, succeed.  We don't focus on winning; we focus on learning as we develop true soccer players.  As our motto goes, "Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn."  By focusing on learning, we build a more positive environment for our players to build resilience, confidence, and a love for the game of soccer.  Failure is simply seen as a stepping stone to success.

Whether you are just learning to play, want to play with your friends for fun, or want to compete at the highest level, we have a team for you!  Although we predominately serve the Edison community, registration is open to all players who wish to play.
